Private Blog Network – Los Angeles Lakers’ power forward LeBron James recently addressed questions about the chances of playing alongside Golden State Warriors’ point guard Stephen Curry again. In his response, LeBron admitted that he wasn’t sure if that opportunity would ever come.

“I really don’t know about that at all,” the 39-year-old player said, as reported by ESPN.

LeBron’s uncertainty about reuniting with Curry on the court is supported by both players’ recent contract extensions with their respective teams. LeBron James recently extended his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers until 2026.

The terms of LeBron’s contract extension are indeed remarkable, valued at $104 million (around IDR 1.62 trillion). Meanwhile, Stephen Curry also extended his stay with the Golden State Warriors last August. Signing a one-year deal worth $62.6 million (approximately IDR 975 billion).

LeBron and Curry Plan to Retire with Their Respective Teams

The possibility of LeBron James and Stephen Curry playing together again seems unlikely. As both players have expressed their desire to retire with their current teams. LeBron plans to end his career with the Lakers, while Curry aims to retire as a Warrior.

Stephen Curry emphasized this sentiment during an interview with Andscape in July. Where he stated his loyalty to the Warriors, the team he’s been with since starting his NBA career in 2009.

“I’ve always said that I want to be a Warrior for life. At this point in my career, I feel like anything can happen,” said the 36-year-old star.

Regarding Curry, LeBron expressed his happiness about the moments they shared on the court, calling it a memorable experience.

“I’m just so happy to have had the chance to play alongside him in those intense games. It was truly a dream come true to be on the same team as Steph (Curry) during the Olympics,” LeBron said.
